Join us as we return to the mainstage with that mainstay of our repertoire
An Evening of Horror & Suspense
in the Old-Time Radio Tradition
After one year away in Zoomland, our 12th annual Halloween-themed show returns to
University Church, at 57th & University,
Two evenings: Friday & Saturday, October 29 & 30, at 8:00 PM
Spooky episodes, old and new, haunting melodies, your elegantly ghoulish announcer and those commercials. Not two shows, but the same show twice. Since seating is limited (see below), we’re bringing you two nights so more of our neighbors and friends can see it.
Advance tickets are $15; $12 for students & seniors.
At the door, any tickets we still have to sell will be $18; $15 for students & seniors.
But seating is limited, so don’t wait. Get your tickets today.
What about the horror and suspense of COVID-19?
For this production, the Players are aligning with professional Chicago theaters in requiring proof of vaccination (the card or a picture of it) and masking for all vaccine-eligible audience members. Performers and production crew will mask while not performing, unmask while performing. Seating in the hall has been limited to a certain density–the reason why tickets are limited–and chairs will be set up spaced apart. We’re assuming that groups arriving together will want to clump their chairs together, allowing still more spacing among the groupings.
Not vaccinated? Don’t wait.
