July Staged Reading

Address Unknown

By Katharine Kressman Taylor

Directed by Ruth Kadanoff

The story is written as a series of letters between a Jewish American art gallery owner in San Francisco and his former old German friend and partner who has returned to Germany in 1932. Published in 1938 it shows, through their words, how rapidly fascism and anti-Semitism can corrupt and cause awful things to be said and done.

The reading will be followed by refreshments and a chance to talk with director and actors, $5 at the door.

At Augustana Lutheran Church, 5500 S, Woodlawn Ave.
