What would happen if you took the politics, the magic and the murders out of the “Scottish Play?” What would Macbeth look like if you banished the witches and removed the wronged thanes and the English force and just kept the private inwardness of Macbeth, his tormented musings, Lady Macbeth, her slide from brusque confidence to bewildered guilt and their intense and shifting relationship.
Our Staged Reading will be a cut of Macbeth showing us only the private life of Macbeth and his lady.
