‘Birthday Party Planners’ is a light-hearted look at newly discovered childhood trauma. A few middle aged people want to live the rest of their lives knowing that they have uncovered every dark area of their minds that could be holding them back from happiness. They employ the services of Birthday Party Planners, a company that specializes in probing psyches for hidden dread. Those brave enough to endure the individualized program the planners have developed are rewarded with a grand birthday party.
