May Staged Reading: Celebrating Christopher Durang

Join us this Friday for our monthly Staged Reading, this month a collection of scenes and other writings by Tony-award-winning playwright Christopher Durang.

Described in his NY times obituary as mixing “high art and low humor” Durang is one of the Players' most produced writers. He died this month at the age of 75. He was a prolific writer of brainy absurdist comedies.

Celebrate his life by enjoying some of our favorite scenes, along with home baked treats and a discussion afterwards.

At Augustana Lutheran Church, 5500 S Woodlawn. $5 at the door.

May 10-12, 17-19

Advance Tickets are now available for

Do You Feel Anger?

by Mara Nelson-Greenberg

We're looking forward to our May production of Do You Feel Anger?, directed by Marilyn Cavicchia. This absurdist comedy explores gender dynamics, workplace aggression, and how our attempts to build empathy can go dangerously off the rails--and keeps you laughing the whole time.

At University Church, 57th & University.
