Auditions & Organizational Meeting:
An Evening of Horror and Suspense
Directed by Shonte Wesson
Sunday, September 17, 4-7pm
Augustana Lutheran Church (upstairs)
The HPCP continues its annual Halloween tradition with another anthology of tales of HORROR…and suspense! Actors bring spine-tingling old-time radio plays to life, accompanied by live sound effects. An Evening of Horror and Suspense is a great way to get involved with the HPCP. No memorization is required.
This year’s radio plays are:
Valse Triste, by Arch Oboler (Lights Out, March 30, 1938)
Evening Primrose, based on the short story by John Collier (Escape, November 5, 1947)
The Flame, by Arch Oboler (Lights Out, March 23, 1943)
The Raven, based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe
The audition & organizational meeting is for anyone who wants to be involved with the show, either as an actor or as a member of the sound effects team or other behind-the-scenes role. There is no need to prepare anything in advance.
An Evening of Horror and Suspense will take place on October 21, 2017 at Augustana Lutheran Church.
