Our February offering for our Reading Series, on the second Friday this month, presents a selection of works by of one of America’s most beloved black writers.
Soul Gone Home, Hughes’ 1936 one-act play, is about a boy who dies of tuberculosis, then confronts his neglectful mother from the afterlife.
The free program will last less than an hour, followed by discussion.
