Laugh your way with us through what has been called “the most bizarre lesson in the history of pedagogy!” Listening to the Professor’s intricate explications, can you help the poor Pupil to comprehend simple arithmetic? And then, what about philology? This absurdist black comedy by Eugene Ionesco (best known for Rhinoceros) premiered in 1951. A political satire, it is not for the faint-hearted.
$5 at the door for the reading, the homemade refreshments, and conversation with director and cast following the reading. We ask all non-performing, non-eating attenders to mask.
