AUDITIONS: An Evening of Horror and Suspense 2024

September 14, 2024 Leave a Comment

Directed by Dorothy Parsons and Logan MacGregor

Performances of An Evening of Horror and Suspense 2024 will take place October 25 & 26.

HPCP calls on all fans of suspenseful stories, weird tales, and things that go bump in the night to come out and audition for our fifteenth annual Evening of Horror and Suspense! We present spooky radio plays before a live audience, accompanied by a sound effects team. To complete the classic radio atmosphere, we include messages from our sponsors and musical interludes. The rehearsal period lasts about 4 weeks. Most actors will rehearse once a week.

Actors read from scripts on stage so there is no memorization. All are welcome to audition and everyone gets a part. No experience is necessary, and there is no need to prepare anything for participation in acting, sound effects, or ads. If you are interested in music and have not previously done anything with us, please be prepared to answer a few questions about your experience and skill level.

Auditions are drop-in; come when you want to and stay as long as you like.
