The mainstage productions for our 2018/2019 season have been chosen! Alas, we can’t tell you what they are until we secure the performance rights. However, we can tell you that we are now looking for directors for our two annual productions:
AN EVENING OF HORROR AND SUPSENSE! (a.k.a. the Halloween radio show)
Every October, usually the weekend before Halloween, we recreate a 1940s-era radio show and perform a group of spine-tingling, spooky, suspenseful stories. The director of the radio show chooses the material, in addition to holding the organizational meeting, casting, rehearsing the cast, finding a venue, etc. Past Evening of Horror and Suspense directors include Bill Hohnke, Mary McCarthy, Amelia Snoblin, and Shonte Wesson. If you’re interested in directing this show in October 2018, please contact Samantha Fenno at samanthafenno@gmail.com by July 15, 2018.
OUTDOOR SUMMER SHAKESPEARE
It is now an annual tradition for us to put on a Shakespeare play for free outdoors in Nichols Park in June or July. Set is minimal, and much of the rehearsal is done outdoors. The director chooses the play, holds auditions, casts the show, rehearses the show, etc. If you’re interested in directing a Shakespeare play for us in the summer of 2019, please contact Samantha Fenno at samanthafenno@gmail.com by July 15, 2018.
